I work with the International Institute for Sustainable Development’s Canada Energy Team, leading work on public and private financing of fossil fuels.
Basically, Canada doesn’t have any time—or money—to waste on fossil fuels any more. I help move the needle towards banks that fund renewables, not risky stranded assets; and a government that subsidizes secure energy for Canadians, not a dying oil market.
My teammates are very smart—much more than I am. I appreciate that a lot.
